MIDDLE SCHOOL SUPPLY LIST 2016-2017
Please make sure ALL supplies are marked with your name. You must have:
Bring materials for covering books; not all books can be covered with stretchy
covers, so bring at least 5 paper grocery sacks (Bakers, HyVee, and
NoFrills/Family Fare give paper sacks if you ask for them).
ABSOLUTELY NO LIQUID WHITE-OUT.

- A very sturdy 2” 3-ring binder with dividers
- One 1” 3-ring binder for P.E.
- Spiral notebooks (single-subject, college-ruled for 8th grade/wide-ruled for 7th and 6th grades) for social studies, science, math, religion, reading
- 3 composition books (1 for science, 1 for Spanish, 1 for religion)
- Sturdy pencil bag with 3 holes to go in binder
- Ruler (with customary & metric units) with holes to go in binder
- Plastic compass
- Protractor
- 1 pen/pencil eraser
- Scientific calculator
- Glue stick (NO bottled glue); jar of rubber cement for projects
- Scissors
- 8-count classic color watercolor markers (wide or narrow)
- Colored pencils for art (Prismacolor or Crayola brand)--make sure set includes a white pencil
- 1 thin & 1 ultrathin permanent black Sharpies for art (can be 2-ended)
- 3 large boxes of Kleenex (NOT with lotion)
- 1 container of Clorox/antibacterial wipes
- Ear buds (not headphones)
- Package of highlighters containing pink, green, yellow, blue, purple, brown
- 4 pkgs. wide-ruled (for 6th & 7th) or college-ruled (for 8th) looseleaf paper
- At least 5 blue or black pens
- At least 3 red pens for checking (not pink, orange, green, etc.)
- At least 20 #2 pencils, sharpened before coming to school (not mechanical pencils)
- At least 3 pkgs. of index cards (3x5”)
